Today’s high-performance single-ply roofs require expert installation techniques to insure their success and longevity. Over the last three decades, Clark’s Quality Roofing has installed more than 100,000,000 square feet of single-ply membrane on more than 11,000 projects. As an early adopter, we’ve helped pioneer installation techniques for high-performance single-ply roofing membranes, such as EPDM, white PVC and TPO “cool” roofs. Everything we do comes with award-winning craftsmanship that has been recognized by the industry.
Single-Ply Re-Roofs
High performance, low maintenance, long lasting
Thermoplastic single-ply membranes are high-performance solutions in which seams and flashings are fused together using hot air welders. When properly installed, the sheets become a single molecular layer of material which is impervious to water and other elements. EPDM is a thermoset solution where seams are taped or cemented to make a seal. All single-ply membranes can often be applied over an existing roof. Our consultants can assess your needs to determine if a single-ply PVC, TPO, EPDM or KEE membrane is right for your next roof.
“Cool” White, Solar, and Living Roofs
Sustainable roofing that is good for business and the environment
“Cool” roofs are increasing in their importance to businesses and the environment. A commercial white “cool” roof — usually PVC or TPO — reflects the heat of the sun, which can reduce the temperature of the roof by more than 70 degrees. Businesses can see significant savings through reduced energy needs for air-conditioning during the warm months. In addition, the reduction of black heat-absorbing materials in our communities helps alleviate “urban heat island” effects, which impact temperatures and air quality. Add bi-facial or cylindrical solar panel technology to your white roof, and your solar yield can be increased as your roof helps supply needed energy for heating and cooling. Vegetative “living” roofs offer many of the benefits of cool roofs, while providing inspirational green space that can be designed for your employees’ or community’s enjoyment.
Retro-fit Metal Roofs
Cost-effective, low maintenance and sustainable
Metal roofs for commercial and industrial buildings can last more than 50 years if they are well-maintained. However, while the metal itself can last for a very long time, the bolts, gaskets, and sealants used to build the roof wear out in 20-25 years. CQR technicians can revitalize the roof with new connectors and sealants to give your metal roof a brand new life. Our practical approach is a cost-effective way to renew your roof for another 25 years.
